| Where to get my Mini fixed? (UK) | 28 May 2004 09:07 GMT | 4 |
My '98 Cooper Sport has an oil leak from the crankshaft oil seal. I've been ignoring it, because it's only slight, but my wife is determined to have the drive block-paved, and insists that she doesn't want a slightly incontinent Mini blobbing on it...

| Strange front-end vibration | 28 May 2004 08:59 GMT | 4 |
Here's a stumper. I have a strange noise in the front end; it's not really a vibration, just a WOH...WOH...WOH noise with a frequency that matches the rotation of the tires, in or out of gear, engine off or on. It sounds a bit like a propeller airplane drone, only it matches the ...

| maniflow or budget LCB? | 25 May 2004 15:06 GMT | 3 |
I need to buy LCB's for my mini this week and I'm wondering if there's any benefit in paying extra for a well known brand of LCB's (such as maniflow) or if well made budget ones are just as good. It will only be used for the road and occasional track-days, not a race car.
