My 82 Mini city failed its WOF because of knackered front wheel bearings, so I stripped the hubs off it to replace them. In the process, I saw that the brake pads on the left front were perished, with cracks that ran full width of the pad, and the right hand pads

i know it sounds like a daft question but i am restoring my mini thirty le for when i can drive and wondered how you current mini drivers cope with the monsters of speed bumps which are the island type ones that look like they will quite happily take out my mini's gearbox!

I just bought my fourth Mini (and they all fit in the garage!) - it's a nice 1970 Clubman, mint bodywork but someone has fitted a MG Metro Turbo engine in it :eek!: How could I let it go to those evil people at *cough ... mob... cough* so I had to buy it.

Gday all is there any real difference between using a side exit exhaust system or centre exit? Is the fact that a centre-exit system will be almost straight better or worse than having a few bends like a side exit system?

Just had someone on the phone who wants to sell his Moke. It is an early British built car. He says it was registered 01/06/63, but I thought production didn't start until 1964! So it is very early on that basis! It is not on the road, but is said to be in sound condition..... ...

I have owned a lot of cars for a lot of years and I never needed to replace a horn on any of them. But now I need a horn for my 92 mini. Mine only chirps and squeeks. Anyone out there have a spare? It is a simple one + terminal.

Has anyone out there put A/C in a mini. The one I have is a LHD. Been looking for info. Considering adapting a kit from Vintageair or something like that. If there is anyone out there that had done it and had success I would love to hear the story,

Don't know the size. When measured the bore diameter is 1&3/8 It's a 1988 MINI Mayfair, RHD, 998CC. Has a plastic air filter assembly. Need to know what K&N filter to buy for it. If anyone can get me the part
