Hi everybody, me again!
Thanks to all your kelp and advice, I have fixed my electrics problem.  A
bit of 'dremmeling' later on the fusebox, and new connecters all over and
i'm sorted!

Does any one know if you can remove the Speedo drive from a mini with the
engine still in.It seems I have a piece of cable stuck in the square drive
so I cant put a new one in.

Here are two items I have replaced on  my Mini. The boot handle was new in January replaced with a repop MkI unit last week. The lamp housing is in need of repaint or would polish up with a little effort and a buff wheel.

While checking the condition of thte dizzy in my 92 I noticed that the screw
holding the distributor cap ( the screw next to the vacuum side of the
dizzy) is damaged. For whatever reason the threads on that screw are
stripped and it is doing nothing to hold the cap on. The other ...
