I`m planning on raising the front of my car by slipping washers onto the end
of the trumpet this weekend.
Can anyone give me any advice on what to look out for, the simplest way to
do it and what problems I might encounter.

Our Open Classic appears to be running a little hotter than usual (according
to the guage).  It normally runs bang on the mid line on the scale and
recently it is just showing part of the line.
Water level is fine, no signs of water in oil or vice versa.  Could it be

I trying to build N 1300CC metro engine in an mini 1000. I tried to attach
the 1300cc engine block to the 1000 gearbox but found out that the
gearwheel on the crackshaft is different from the one on the 1000 cc

Can anyone tell me what it is that I do with the Vacuum advance pipe once
fitted a Webber carb?
Do I remove the pipe and plug up the Vacuum unit, or do I just leave it
open?

Anybody know of any good starting points for setting up a HIF carb?
The carb was fine but after it was messed about with all the settings are
all over the place, looking for some preliminary setting so I know where I'm
starting from.

As an example of infuriating Mini ownership, I've been battling on and off
since we got our '84 Sprite back from the bodyshop in November with an
intermittent fault where the Ignition, aka alternator warning, light kept
coming on.
