Took my new Mini (K reg 1.3i Cooper) out for a good motorway drive today.
Kept the speed to around 60 (around 3000 revs) for better MPG but at that
speed the engine really does have "drone" that after a while made
conversation a bit of a bind. The engine bay is soundproofed, even ...

I Really need some help with this. At least eight times over the last five

Anyone built or building one of these? I was hoping that someone who
has deciphered the manual and built one of these can help me if (when)
I get stuck. Or perhaps if someone else is building one we can swap
ideas and try and fill in some of the gaps the build manual seems to

 I rang them today about a problem with my engine and gearbox today
both of them come from mini sport and are still new and cost about about
£3000 together , and i got the impression that they couldnt care less....
 My money goes to other suppliers from now on

The second best mini film of all time has just been re-released. You can get
this great NZ film from Amazon. I've not seen this film for a couple of
years and I've just bought a copy.

Austin 1275cc (A-Series) Mini Air Conditioning Problem and advice needed01 Jul 2004 18:00 GMT2
I have just got around to removing the air conditioning from my donor
1275cc A-Series MG Metro. It has the same engine as the Mini and the
air conditioning is a "Unipart" (Austin's accessory supplier)
aftermaket unit so it is quite universal. It is about 20 years old and
