I am just associating mig welders and minis cant think why ; ) I have been using mig welders for longer than i care to remember but this is at work with 3 phase industrial equipment. I am going to buy a diy set to keep on top of the rust on the mini.

I bought this short block years ago when I had my mini's but never used it was wondering what there worth. I took them to Mr. Mini when I got them just to be sure they actually are from a 997 cooper and he said the head numbers are from a 997 cooper. The block has no casting ...

I have a '67 MK1 which suffers from a strange stiffness in 2 or 3 places in the steering travel. Sometimes you have to give the wheel quite a hard pull to to straighten up after a roundabout or junction. I have stripped and reajusted the ball joints and greased them with moly

I was quite horrified when i removed the rubber strip from the sill to repaint a small patch of rust only to find it all the way along ang one small bit rusted through. I realised a couple of years ago this could be a problem so gave it a coat
