Hi all I  posted a wee bit ago and my site was killed I got a bit of one up
with Cogeco. I put some pic's of the mini I just picked up to get back into
shape,  also I  just picked up  2 new rover front fenders,  the front mouth
panel, used hood  and 2 new bumpers  the body parts ...

The hole that takes bolt & lock nut under the "clutch arm" by the
slave cylinder appears stripped.
Can I tap this to an oversize and use a thicker bolt and nut?
If yes, any things to consider? Shavings entering the housing, etc.?

had metal inserts installed, and that the inserts started being installed at
some point in 1989.

I need to replace the motor in the near-side door mirror of my (new-style)

Is there a correct way to remove the actual mirror? (the mirror is heated)
