My gearbox kept jumping out of second on overun so i've swapped it for
another I had lying around.
The gearbox is fine but the trouble is that I now have a noise at idle. It
is like a rustling whine. It disappears when the cluch is pressed.

After a few weeks of everything going right, its all gone wrong.
Managed to fit head gasket and radiator and my confidence got too great.
I've just spent all day installing a stage one kit and on completion,
test drove the car to the end of the road where it cut out and the cabin

Where should I dump the fumes?
Into the carb/filter - Never liked this idea. (Did the 1275 Metro engine use
a breather valve (PCV) , I presume that one will be needed).
Use those little mini filters on each breather outlet/trap - What are they

back again+ got a haynes manual other day to see if there was info on this
as it appears i have a leak from here, not too bad but just wondered if

I have info on converting a mini to bosch K-jetronic fuel injection,
this system works a treat and is found on lots of VW, Audi, Saab,
Volvos etc. I can point you in the right direction if you are fed up
with carbs and the problems normally associated with them!

Here in Canary Islands (Spain, left hand wheel), we have plenty of sun, so
... the dashboard of my 1.971 clubman has aged and cracked. It has been
recently repainted and restored, but it is impossible to find repalcement
for the upholster of the dashboard.

As the title suggests really. When I lift off the go pedal there's a knock
