Hello people,
I have a strange problem at the moment between 56 and 75 mph. The car
won't cruise at this speed and is judery if i try to accelerate unless i
give it full throttle. It will hapily run smooth at 80 to 85 flat out.

I've had a scan through some of the other threads on this topic, but
just wanted to check anyway. Apologies if I'm being thick!
Just bought a 1990 Racing Green, which had a transplant in 1994 to a
1275 (which I think is still leaded, but that's another matter).

What would the result be of putting 20w50 oil in the dashpot?
What is the correct oil?

Hi anybody know if Sportspack arches will fit onto a 1974 Clubman?
Only asking coz I've been offered a clubman at a good price and was
wondering if the big arches would fit onto it or should I put them onto my
classic mini?

My car has the standard rover alarm (fitted on rover 200s/400s etc and
late minis) i was wanting to wire the hazards to flash once/twice for
alarm set/un set.  is there any way of doing this easily.  The alarm
does already flash indicators when it is set off, so surely this isnt

Picked this up of another NG so know nothing more.
Anyone else have any info?

Hi, I recently bought some 2nd hand ROH minilite-style 10" mags with
165/70/10 tyres for my 81 Mini city with drums all round.
The front tyres are fine, but the rears only just rub on the shocks. It
probably only needs a few mm to correct.

I tried to join the specialist mini forums before & was rejected,  gang of
stuck up bas***ds,  probably as they would be pissed that my new acquisition
was better than all of their cars :-)

prefer with MOT or easy repair for my girlfriend who is starting to get the

How much grease does the  Radius Arm take? I'm pumping and pumping and the
grease is disappearing from my grease gun. it says stop when you see grease
coming from the back bush......but nothings coming out!  Is the radius arm
hollow or something.
