The key problem with this facility is the Plant Manager,  Jim Flood.

Hello, brand new here and to owning a Mini. 1989 1275 A+, I was
wondering, the old stock coil has a small crack and I want to change
it out for a new one. Is there a performance coil I should consider or
will any 12 volt coil work? Im in canada so its not like we have

Has anyone mounted the A032R 165/70/10 on a 4.5J x 10 rim? I had some on 6J
x10s but neve tried them on 4.5s, I want to keep them under a standard wheel
arch without fitting any wheel arches, any ideas,

Ann just returned from Waitrose (Tilehurst,nr. Reading, UK) having
returned to Ronnie to find an apparently brand new Mini with latest
style of number plate parked alongside. She didn't have time to hang
about and wait for the owner. Presumably a one off built with

On a slightly different note; I read that when mg-rover was formed BMW went
off with the "new" Mini leaving Rover the rights to sell the remaining "old"
minis.

Hi all -got probs with me 93 1.3i cooper (again)
just serviced her the other day but previous to that i had topped up the
radiator with a 50/50 mix .
Anyhoo, today after a bit of a burn it appeared that the radiator had

How can I reprogram the door locks on my 2005 mini so they lock as soon as I
put the car in drive?

just wondering if the timing could be checked without removing the
engine from the car (radiator and fan obviously removed).
Also, can u tell what cam is fitted from the rad side of the engine?

Does anyone know if an 850 cam would work in a 998 engine?
I have been told by a so-called A series expert that if I put an 850 cam
into a 998 block with a 1300 head it would push the BHP to around the 85 BHP

I have just finished putting a 1275 Vanden Plas Auto in a 998 auto mini.  My
first dealings with mini/metro auto engine and boxes.  Whats the best oil to
use in these 1275 auto's.  Also what NGK plugs are recommended?  Haynes only
gives unipart plug numbers.

Right. Having checked every possible  reason for my 1330 running warmer
than desired i've decided to flush the system. The radiator is new so i
was thinking of removing it and simply flush the block and head. My
question is:
