Bought this Cooper S from a seller who took a Mini Cooper abroad and had it upgraded to a Cooper S so insurance company still taking it as group 8 insurance. Just have to declare supercharger and exhaust as the other upgrades (bodyparts) are all genuine mini parts.

I was wondering if anybody has converted a mini to a diesel?. If so did the subframe have to be modified dramatically. The reason I ask was that I have been offered a 1.5 diesel metro for much cheapness.

Is there a tool for holding this pin whilst the nyloc nut is tightened please? Where from (nr Manchester - UK) Are they readily available and does the nut have to be tightened with the sub frame out of the car?
