I am looking at buying a British Mini from a friend and having it shipped back to the States. Does anyone know how hard it is to change the Flitch panel, and the left bottom sill? These are the only places that the rust has gone through. Car is in decent shape for only $ 1400. ...

Hi I have an 1989 Automatic Mini Cooper lookalike which I brought last year. It now seems to judder and seems to struggle when going uphills. It makes a grr-skreek noise when downshifting and braking.

Has anyone got any experience or comments to make about fitting non-genuine sportspack arches? They're obviously a lot cheaper than proper Rover ones, but if they're going to be a nightmare to fit and/or poor quality, i think i'd rather pay the extra and buy the genuine ones.
