my thanks to everyone who helped with my techie questions over the last 4 months - the 1981 blue mini pick up just passed its MoT for the first time in 14 years. got it taxed, just ironing out some small niggles then taking it to the shows !

Hi, can anyone please please help.... I have just fitted coil suspension to my Mini, replacing the rubber units. The whole thing has been a little nightmare as I have found no where a decent guide to doing it and have to everything blind.

Any recommendations on where to get hold of some chrome arches (standard City size). Her indoors wants the full arch set not the stick over the spats ones. Ours are looking in a bad state these days. As ever TIA

Thanks for replies. What wears on the swivel hub? The bearings run in the outer race which is pressed into it, i dont doubt it just trying to understand it. thanks

14k miles ago i replaced the n/s front wheel bearing (due to failure) on our 92 open classic. Its just failed again (lots of play and noise). Is this to be expected from a pattern part (the drivers side and the one i replaced were the originals). The one i fitted is branded ...

The wipers we're really slow, so have replaced the wheel boxes (one was ceased up) that the wiper arms attach to and also the rack. The wiper motor was also dismantled, regreased and put bck to gether. However the wipers now wipe clockwise first then anti clockwise.
