| Hot motors - a cautionary tale | 21 Aug 2006 23:12 GMT | 4 |
I am looking for a motor for my Clubby Van and found a 1098cc that looked a pretty good buy in a magazine. Called the bloke, spoke to him at length, agreed on pick-up details and, as an afterthought, asked him for the engine number. Mmmh. Not the same as the number in the ad. ...

| Coils? | 10 Aug 2006 16:07 GMT | 11 |
I was at an Autojumble the other day and found a clean, new looking Lucas Sports Coil DLB105 Gold for 3 pounds. Looking at the deal, it was worth a gamble so I bought it and fitted it to the mini when I got home. All works fine and in actual fact the car runs noticeably better.
