This past week when my automatic transmission goes from first to
second gear it gives this loud onetime squeak (sounds like im rubbing
my hand on dry glass). after i've been driving for a while it appears
to lessen, but this morning on my morning drive the first hour it was

I think I messed something up pretty good...when attempting to ground Pin
1, I inadvertantly put the paper clip in the Pin 16, and all the interior
lights when out...I checked the fuse box and replaced the fuse that goes to
the radio (which is also not working).

Any ideas?  My wife's '98 Mitsubishi Galant ES requires front rotor
replacement and I've been unable to remove the rotor from the hub due
to corrosion.  (yes, I remembered to remove the locking lug-nut :-)
Unfortunately, the bolt holes in the rotor used to press it off lack

looking at a 97 galant, good shape overall,was in accident and repaired,
needed inspection due to being a salvage vehicle. st of ct. any input?

Now that Daimler-Chrysler announced it will sell its 37% stake in Mitsubishi

I have a 91 Eclipse 1.8 auto, the guy I got it from pressure washed the
engine and said it hasn't run since. I did the obvious and changed the cap,
rotor, and wires but that didn't help. I then changed the Dist and Ecm but I
still have no fire. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I rented a Mitsubishi galant today but can't find a button to open the gas
cap. I don't know the year of the car but it should be a 200x model. The gas
cap seems locked. Where can I find the unlock button?

My GF has a 2002 Galant with about 60K miles on it.
Recently, she reported that the oil pressure warning light came
on sporadically, sometimes flickering. She also reported that
it would come on more often when she was stopped at a light.

The door open light on my 1990 Mark one Shogun/Pajero  remains on all the
time flattening the battery. It also remains on when I disconnect the front

I have just tried to replace a rear brake disc on my Shogun.
I have removed the caliper assembly but can't see how to get the disc off.
There are 2 small holes where I would expect to find holding screws but they
are missing.
