Alright, I have a 93 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 16v DOHC (automatic) and whenever
I go into reverse, the car stutters for a few seconds and drops to about
400-500 RPM's. Is this normal or is there a problem? If it's a problem, what
should I be looking at?

hi, in the rear end there is a clunking sound, mostly when hitting a bump.

This is my sons car and I?m pulling out what little hair I have left
trying to figure this out. He is going back into the Army in the next
week so we need to get it fixed. I read similar posts here but none

I've posted this question before but still haven't managed to solve
the problem. The engine warning light comes on intermittently on my
1991 3000GT SL. I did a fault diagnosis of the ECU as described in the
service manual and found malfunction code 14 for the throttle position

i found out i can go another 30 miles after the fuel light comes on. well,
the other day i had only gone 16 miles and it wouldnt start. (was out of
gas)this does not make sense. anyone got any ideas? thanks

works?
I checked the local parts stores and the Actron scanner at about $180 says
it does not support ABS.  I emailed one scanner companies that sell hardware

The tail light sockets on my '93 3000GT were badly corroded, and
wouldn't release the bulbs. In getting the bulbs out, I damaged the
