When I apply the brakes on my 99 Galant V6, there's a strange tone that
comes from the rear of the car. It's not a scraping sound, but a single
tone. If I release the brake, the tone disappears. Reaply, tone comes back.
I notice it also, but it's not nearly as loud, when turning ...

While driving down the highway at 50mph the car died. Had it towed home.
Starter turns over, but not getting any spark. Never a problem with the
car before.

My son inherited my Mitsu Diamante 1992 LS.  It has 184,000 miles on it.  He
went away to college in the fall, and parked it in our driveway.  I was
running famously and smoothly.  He's home now for Spring Break, and tried to
start the car.  We jumped the battery, put in fresh 93 ...

Anyone know why my wipers stop and come back on after a few minites?

Last day there was strange noise coming from rear right side. In service
I was told that control arm bushing have to be replaced. Price for part:
$10, price for labour: $120.
Does anybody know if it really requires almost 2 hours to replace this

I just had the 60,000 mi service performed by a NASCAR mechanic and now my
2000 Galant has a strange sensation in the excelerater pedal. I had him
check it out yesterday & he feels it too.
The visual check under the car is AOK, BUT what is causing the referred

I think my clutch is begriming to slip a bit.  I notice when in 5th
gear and the engine is bogged a bit and I don't downshift that the
revs go up with no change in car speed.
Is there any sort of adjustment on this clutch?  Any idea on

I have a 95 Eclipse that when it is wet, it feels like the car is driving
on ice (not a lot of control).  It is not the tires because those are
brand new.  Does anyone have any ideas on what this could be?

The cd stacker provided in this car is useless. It doesnt play cdrw, has no
skip protection & hardly plays burnt cds.

I've got a 98 Montero Sport with 126,000 miles. Just began clicking in the
engine compartment. I've noticed that it gets higher/lower depending on
rpm's.  Also, a little puff of white smoke from muffler upon leaving idle.
Any ideas? Could it be a oil pump? If so, what kind $$ am i ...

I just got suckered into a 92 Mirage with no radio and can't seem to find
what kind will fit in the car.  It already has the wires and speakers just
need radio. I know absolutely nothing about cars so any help would be
greatly appreciated.

I recently shorted my cigarette lighter in my imported 1993 FTO GR.
When I looked at the fuse box to find the fuse which had blown I found
them all to be healthy.  Does anybody know which fuse feeds the
cigarette lighter?
