On my 1990 Eclipse, the rubber coating on the aluminum trim strips around the windows is cracked and I'd like to find a good way to cleanly get it all off without scratching the aluminum. On some of the pieces, I can flake it off easily,

Any good way a shade tree mechanic can find out what causes this light to go on? Oil pressure, temp, alternator gauges all OK. Oil, trans fluid, coolant, brake, PS, etc. all OK. No weird sounds. Fans operate properly.

I have a Mitsubishi Eclipse '98. For past couple of months I am experiencing clicking noises most of the times when I brake or turn the steering. I was told that the lower lateral arm needs to be changed. Can anyone please tell me how much would it cost me?

Just to keep you in touch. The car has not shown the problem in the last 4 days at all. Its on the button each time. We found a bit more info about the MUT-11 and the fault codes.
