Recently, i had a leak from the water pump area, and had subsequent
overheating. Immediately, i took it to the mechanic to have the pump
replaced. He suggested replacing the timing belts (2). He charged me
$450 for the whole thing (incl. labor and parts).

I'm not a "car guy."  I change my own oil, radiator fluid, etc....but that's
about it.  But I'm not a dummy either.
My "Service Engine Soon" light came on yesterday, so I took it to the
mechanic who says it's a bad O2 sensor.  He wants $239 for the part and $45

tell me where the “turn signal relay” plugs in at?  I bought the part, but

Hi.  Our 98 Galant ES shudders on anything more than gentle
acceleration.  We also hear a click sometimes when this happens.  The
car is 4cyl, has an automatic transmission and A/C (however, A/C is
switched off).

Just replaced the plugs and wires (huge job!!!).  Runs much better, but
horribly loud and obnoxious!  Also, performance (power) still seem

Hi, I was hoping someone might have a clue as to tire sizes.  I just
got rims for my 1996 eclipse rs.  they are 17x7 +40.  I found a great
deal on some tires but im not sure if they'll fit.  the fit for the
tires that are on it is even a little tight with some bars in the way.

i attempted to jump start a fellow class mate and when he tried to start
his car mine died the car will turn over but wont start the battery and
alternator are both still working and ideas on what happened and how I

Can anyone help with this question.  I have a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant ES
with 4cyl, SOHC engine with 79,000 miles
It stalls while idling but only while warming up as I will describe here.

I'm thinking of buying a 2005 Endeavor. Are there any horror stories I need
