Outlander condenser fan keeps running15 Nov 2005 03:34 GMT3
My 2003 Outlander's (electric) condenser fan stays on after turning the
vehicle off.  I realize that if it's very hot outside, the fan may run
for a few seconds after turning the engine off, but this happens
everytime, even in cool weather or after very short drives.  Now it is

Eclipse High Beams Suddenly not Working12 Nov 2005 00:08 GMT2
I just replaced my alternator, and noticed that my high beams suddenly
don't work.  Could this be a fuse?  Both bulbs blown at the same time?
The switch works, because when I pull the stalk the fog lights go out
as they would with the high beams working.  If one bulb is bad, can

Which is the preferred choice for bed liners, under or over the edge? I feel

4G15P & 6G72 engines' gaskets / lack of which, is stupid04 Nov 2005 14:57 GMT3
My Proton Saga's 4G15P engine's distributor cap did not have a gasket,
dust got in & blocked electrons' flow from cap's centre pin to rotor.  I
had to make this gasket myself.  Neither does a 6G72 engine's distributor
have a gasket, same consequence.

Mitsu 96 Galant has the tail/stop lights staying on when car is turned off.
Discovered that the brake pedal lever is not touching the brake light
switch. Found a broken part (grommet/bumper??) that's supposed to fit in a
hole in the lever and touches the brake light switch. ...
'97 Eclipse GSX Question(s)02 Nov 2005 01:28 GMT2
I have a couple of quick questions:
When I start the car these days, the volt light and brake light (dash) both
come on, and stay on for a while.  Revving the engine eventually makes both
lights go out.  Is this a sign of an electrical problem?  Bad alternator
