When I start my 93 Eclipse in the morning it sounds like something it
hitting the timing belt cover on the bottom end but after about 8 to 10
minutes it goes away! What would cause this? Other than that problem the
car runs great.

95 Eclipse shifts up through 1st, 2nd and then third but then downshifts by
itself into i believe second gear and stays there. Is there any type of
speed sensor for this or what do i look for

my '98 GSX. Now to figure out how to remove the old one and put the new
one in wihout damaging anything.

Hello, I have a 2002 Galant ES which I have a love/hate relationship
problem with. Last August (2005) when I started using the rear window
defroster it would make my radio all fuzzy and I couldn't hear a thing.

Just put new engine seal in, after everything is back together I'm having a
starting issue.
The car won't start with the ignition switch, it will start if I short the
hot post on the starter .

Going to order a IX EVO and trying to decide whether to sell present toy
(2005 EVO VIII) or use as trade-in. Present EVO only has 800 miles and is
always garaged, has leather and sunroof and is black. I live in New

Anyone know how to get at the fuel gauge sensor on a 1500 Proton Wire
hatchback? I believe this car is based on the Mitsubishi Gallant.

I need to replace the alternator from my 2000 Mitsubishi Galant. I remove
the top bolt with the adjustment screw. I also removed the nut from the
bottom bolt. However I cannot slide the bottom bolt completely off to
remove the alternator. The bolt is hitting the inside frame ...

i'm afraid i've got the cracked exhaust manifold that seems somewhat common
with these vehicles. anyone know of an aftermarket header for the 3.5l
gasoline motor (that is available in the US)?
