2007 Outlander has the worst color selections ever27 Sep 2007 15:23 GMT2
One would assume that a car company will provide the best color
combinations for the customers. Obviously not Mitsubishi.
First of all, they only provide the primitive exterior colors. Nothing
subtle, nothing artistic. Ok, fine, this is Mitsubishi we are talking
1995 3000GT engine trouble26 Sep 2007 01:46 GMT1
My friends 1995 3000GT has started to "steam" out the passenger side
tailpipes.  At the same time the passenger side pipes are blowing very
hot and the drivers side are blowing cold.  The steaming is such that
when the engine has been turned off the pipes continue to steam for
Can't remove rear drums off a 2001 Gallant?24 Sep 2007 22:43 GMT2
I am helping a friend change the brakes in a 2001 Mitsubishi
Gallant. We get to the rear brakes. How to take the drums out? Parking
brake is off, wheel is off, but the bloody thing does not want to come
out. But, it spins ok, with a bit of resistance every so often. So we
Have 4G63B, need opinions23 Sep 2007 10:18 GMT2
I got the engine and 2wd manual tranny for peanuts. I was thinking
this might make a pretty decent engine for a home-made tractor. Has
anyone ever tried to tune these engines for low RPM? I assume it will
need a better oil pump to keep the mains from burning up, but beyond
97 Galant ES A/C Question21 Sep 2007 15:39 GMT1
I have a leaky air conditioning pipe in my 97 Galant ES. The pipe runs from
the firewall, along the passenger side of the engine compartment, toward
the front of the car, where it plugs into a cylinderical-shaped component
(dryer?). The pipe seems to have a pressure tap, and the ...
1995 Mitsubishi Galant Rear Wheel Bearing20 Sep 2007 15:25 GMT1
One of the rear wheel bearings on my girlfriend's '95 Mitsubishi Galant
(disc brakes/ABS), is on its way out and having talked her out of a 300
mile round trip to Bristol, muggins here is now charged with replacing
same (the wheel bearing, not the girlfriend - although...).
Cruise Control18 Sep 2007 04:04 GMT1
'97 Diamante.
Sometimes, when I try to engage the cruise control, it doesn't
start.  If I hit the button on the dash to turn it off, and hit
the brakes a couple five times, turn the button back on, more
replacing O2 sensor on 2004 Galant12 Sep 2007 21:33 GMT3
Okay so the wife was told by the Mitsubishi dealer than the O2 sensor
is going bad on her car.  Quote was $400 for the repair.  They are
trying to sell her on a new Galant but she isn't buying the deal.
Anyways, I don't know much about the Galant, but is there more than
O2 Sensor On 1990 Montero09 Sep 2007 08:29 GMT2
Has anyone here ever changed one?
I bought one from a reputable place and it only had  2 short wires coming
from it.
The original (still installed in the header pipe) has a shielded cable

3000GT/Stealth ECU04 Sep 2007 01:50 GMT6
I am trying to figure out what is causing the ECU to cycle on and
off - I've already changed the caps, didn't make a difference.  Is
there a souce for a schematic for the ECU?  I have a 91 Stealth, DOHC,
no turbo.
