I have a wierd electrical problem with my 97 altmia gxe (manual). whenever
i turn the headlights on, the cruise control will stop working, then the
cruise ctrl light will blink in the speedometer area! if I turn the lights
off, it will resume functioning like normal?!!

I need to change my starter, can I get to it from above or do I need to get
under the car?

My 98 altima, automatic transmission is a bit rough going from first to
second. The transition is not smooth. There is a rude jolt as the
transmission shifts to the next gear. All other shifts are smooth and
"cushioned".

Once a year I crawl under the car and spray my '93 altima's cv boots
with silicon. I then wipe it in with a rag. I noticed this year that
the rubber is starting to show signs of fatigue. The car was in
Florida for 6 years and has been in new england for the last 4 years.

Hey can anyone help?  My airbags deployed when I hit a hard bump and
now the car won't work at all.  I gather that there may be a fuel pump
inertia switch of some kind that stops the fuel pump from working when
this occurs, but I can't figure out where the "switch" is.  Thanks,
