removing the head - engine mount?21 Aug 2006 18:48 GMT1
According to my Haynes manual, the engine needs to be supported as the
mounts have to be removed to gain access to the timing belt.  Has anybody
identified an alternative as I don't have access to a lift.

My '89 Altima has begun to make a 'clunking' noise as it turns
corners.  To be more specific: when it turns right and I accelerate.
I suspected the CV joint. The outer CV boots on both drive shafts
are split, but the inner boots are still intact.  I was able to

Here's the issue.  Any suggestions would be helpful.
I have just replaced the right rear pads and caliper on my 99 Altima
and after driving a mile the wheel started to smoke.  The caliper is
seized, so I returned the caliper, thinking I may have just got a

I have a '93 Altima that doesn't seem to want to start right now. The
battery is fine and the terminals are clean as a whistle. When the
issue first started, I replaced the starter and starter solenod hoping
that this would correct it. But even with the new starter, she would
