After a few raining days sitting outside, my otherwise smoothly running

My 1999 Maxima has a Clarion radio/cassette player.  Everything still
works fine, except the backlight (?) is out that illuminates the lcd
display for the station number.

I've been relatively pleased with my car, but I've had two altenators
installed within a span of 17 months!  I only have the factory
equipped stereo, etc. so I am at a loss as to why I've burned through
two altenators in such a short span of time.

I have a maxima 99. My check engine soon light went on, I took it to dealer
they said I need to change all ignition coils.  the car is running very
smooth. I did not trust them and got the plugs changed and reset the ecm.
