Tires suggestions for 2002SE?11 May 2004 02:58 GMT12
This is my commuter car.  75% Freeways speeds (80+).  I do drive "fun" but
not to the limits (this car has pretty nice limits).  I'm neither impressed
or turned off by the factory tires.  I do like occassionally hitting corners
hard and want some grip but not at the expense of low ...

I have an 04 Max 3.5 SL and an 02 Frontier 4 Cyl manual: does anyone know if
either of these vehicles use a timing belt.
In regards to the belt,  Nissan recommends changing  it at 60K miles---any
comment?

Service Engine Soon Light 1999 Maxima08 May 2004 17:32 GMT3
I took my 1999 Nissan Maxima into a dealer  yesterday because the
"Service Engine Soon" light came on a few days ago.
When I called to make an appointment the service rep said it was
probably something to do with the emission system.  This information

Map light for 4th Gen06 May 2004 03:44 GMT1
Are there any parts places that you guys know of (preferably online)
that sell the interior bits?  I need a map light face plate for a 95
Maxima, and I'm trying to avoid the time involved with salvage yard
hopping.  Any thoughts appreciated, thanks!
Would you pay this much ?05 May 2004 20:48 GMT13
1995 Maxima GLE - 84,100 miles. I love this car and the way it handles. I
started hearing a faint, intermittent clicking noise in the front, as I turn
the steering wheel. As part of a regular oil change they check it out. This
is a serious repair shop, not a Jiffy Lube drive-through ...
94 auto ac not constant05 May 2004 12:39 GMT2
I have a 94 Maxima that I purchased about a year ago. Here in Texas it is
getting into the high 80s now.  It seems like when I set the temperature
that I want, usually about 78 (in AUTO mode) which is cool in this car.
After maybe 5 minutes (maybe less or more) it will start either ...
Need help with removing instrument panel bezel05 May 2004 12:36 GMT1
I have an annoying squeak that definitely originates from the black
bezel that surrounds my instrument panel (speedometer, etc) This bezel
is held in place by 2 screws at the top, but it is very loose at the
bottom, around where the steering column meets the instrument panel,

Unthinkable happened yesterday..:(04 May 2004 01:00 GMT36
I was driving down the road in my '02 Maxima, was in the left lane and
was preparing to make a left turn (which was just after gas station).
A lady comes stairght out of the gas station and hits me on the left
side. Half of my left passenger door is messed up. I called up 911,
Rear Brakes 2001 Max03 May 2004 21:42 GMT4
I tried to replace the rear rotors and pads yesterday. I could not get the
rotors off the rear hub. I removed the hub and rotor and still could not
separate them. Two questions,
1. Do you have to remove the hub lock nut to remove the rotor?
Bad starter relay?03 May 2004 18:07 GMT10
My 97 (117k, 5sp) has given me starting trouble a couple of times in the
last few months.  The conditions are generally random (hot engine, cold
engine, cold weather, cool weather).  When I turn the key to crank I get no
crank or click and the lights dim until I back off with ...
