My '96 Maxima GXE, 190K miles, is occationally taking two to three times to
start.  It sometimes stumbles after starting before smoothing out.  Is is

The telescopic antenna is definately borken.  When teh radio is turned on
and off I can hear the motor activated.  Do I have to change the entire
motor and antenna, or just the antenna?

Hi to all! with engine cold it will start and run fine.when it warms up

I have a 95 max with 5 speed. It starts and idles perfectly. When
accelerating in any gear it will cut out and then begin to buck like crazy
as soon as it hits 2000 rpm. Doesn't seem to be dependant on load at all
just rpm. Below 2000 rpm it runs smoothly. In neutral you can floor ...

The Service Engine Soon light on my 2000 Nissan Maxima came on
Saturday on the interstate.  I checked everything and the car was
running fine.  I continued, but when I got off the interstate onto a
curvy two-way/two-lane road, the car would stutter when I accelerated

If I get a knock sensor code regularly should I replace it (after ruling out
electrical connectors)?  If I clear it, it comes back pretty quickly.  The car
does not audibly knock.
Last year my garage told me that code comes up all the time on Maximas.

After washing and waxing my 2000 Maxima today, I discovered that there are
"water spots" all over the place.  Except that they won't come off with
wash, wash, or polish.
