Hi guys, nice group here. I have a 1989 Maxima 3L That suddenly developed a stumbling problem at takeoff. Hesitates and bucks until about 40 mph.

All, I've got a 2K Max SE, 5spd (54K miles) with what appears to be a noisy clutch cable or mechanism when depressing the clutch. I had a friend peek into the engine compartment while I repeatedly operated the clutch.

`99 Max SE. Just under 102k miles, and the Service Engine Soon light came on for the first time. I got the code from the procedure, and double-, triple- and quadruple-checked it and it's 0510. I cannot find a description of this code

I was having a problem with my 96 Maxima GLE. If the car was still moving (just under 10 mph) it would hesitate on acceleration. about 2 sec worth of hesitation. I took the car to 3 transmission shops (one a Nissan dealer) and the all told me that the tranny needed to be rebuilt. Oh ...

I couldn?t start my 92 GXE last week. Engine cranks but won?t start. I towed the car to shop. Acording to mechanic?s recommendation, I got all the fuel injectors replaced. But after that, still no start. Battery is good. Spark plugs and fuel filter are new. Fuel pumps out

I just changed the timing belt in my Maxima GXE 94, and thanks God it looks like I didn't screw up valve timing. I'd like to share my concerns about timing belt tension adjustment. I did everything as per FSM and ended up with hex hole in 11-11:30

I have a 92 maxima, recently the engine stopped. I can rotate the crank counter clockwise and the chain is slipping on something as it does not turn the cam shafts. I have yet to take it apart to see what the real issue is, but any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello folks. I have been having trouble with valves i my 1992 V6 DOHC Maxima. She has 89,000 miles the Chain tensioners were just replaced, and 2 valves. Upon startup sometimes it is quiet, and other times not. The sound is like a lifter clacking.

I recently acquired a '96 I30 for my teenage daughter to drive and it simply does not take the curves the way my '97 I30t does. The struts are good and I can't find anything in the suspension that is damaged or not working right. Its just a boat.
