1993 Maxima GXE 156k miles The ABS motor relay has failed (stuck closed). I have the relay out and have phoned several Nissan dealers but none are able to positively identify the part from the numbers on it.

03 Maxima 6spd with 18k miles using about a quart every 2500 miles. adult owned (not raced) No smoke, no oil on driveway. Car runs great! dealer changed pcv then wants to check level again. if not fixed they may change out engine.

Are the speaker outputs from the basic non-Bose radio/cassette anything special? (in contrast to the special output from Bose to the amp'ed speakers). Can the non-Bose speakers be replaced with aftermarket speakers, or are some signal issues I need to worry about?

I've been plague by a "knock sensor" check engine light that won't go away. I check the knock sensor while still bolted to the engine block and got these readings at 2K-rpm: DMM: ~20mV AC, 5.5M-Ohm.

I was going to buy a 1993 with 120 K on it, loaded sunroof etc, but one of my mech. says they burn lots of gas like 19 per gallon. Thats 8k per liter With the price of gas going up all the time, and no work lately I wonder if this is a wise purchase.

My brakes are squeeling after 85k miles, I presume it's the front. Is there any trick to replacing the pads on the front brakes? Do the slave cylinders just push back in (using a C-clamp) or are they threaded, or some other trick?
