Nissan Maxima 93 runs on five occasionally08 Sep 2004 06:39 GMT6
I'd appreciate some help on this one. I've been investigating a 1993
Nissan Maxima (3.0, 6-cyl, less than 100 000 miles on it) which
occasionally runs only with five cylinders. Here are the facts:

Engine cuts out at shift (auto)08 Sep 2004 06:13 GMT1
I've got a strange one here. Engine runs fine, but when accelerating,
especially hard acceleration, the engine cuts out for a second just as the
automatic transmission reaches shift. Going from first to second, second
to third most noticable. Then kicks back in. Makes for a real ...
93 Max GXE, Automatic Transmission fluid change08 Sep 2004 00:47 GMT1
My girlfriend's 93 Max has 160,000 km on it (about 100,000 Miles).  She
bought it used and we don't know when or if the transmission fluid was ever
changed, so we're thinking it would be a good idea to do it.  I've always
had manual transmissions, so this job will be a first for me. ...
98 Bose System Problem07 Sep 2004 13:51 GMT4
I have a 98 Nissan Maxima SE with the Bose sound system in it.
Recently, I've been having problems.  At first, it would be playing
sound through all speakers and after I'd go over a bump, it would for
some reason just play through one speaker.  I would then just move the
Power Steering Pump Q's - 97 Max SE07 Sep 2004 12:20 GMT3
While having a good look at my steering rack, linkage, and control arms,
I noticed a leak on the lower large hose leading to my power steering pump.
It appeared to be a slow leak.  The PS fluid chamber is filled to spec.

Repairing Power Window Switches07 Sep 2004 06:31 GMT3
On my '89 Maxima I've had ongoing problems with the master power window
switch assy on the front driver side.
Has anyone out there figured out a way of repairing these things?
They're expensive and I'm on my 3rd one.
Steve or NissTech EGR&Knock sensor problems07 Sep 2004 04:59 GMT10
I'm getting a CEL (96 SE with 138K miles) that is indicating a problem with
the knock sensor and the EGR....are they usually related? Would the EGR
problem cause the kncok sensor problem, or am I looking at 2 unique
problems?

A special thanks to the Maxima group04 Sep 2004 23:22 GMT2
I want to thank all the people in this group who have given me great advice
over the last ten years. I've enjoyed many mostly trouble free miles in
three new Maximas during this period. My problem has been trying to replace
my current 01 SE with an 04. Try as hard as I could I just ...

Does the 4th generation Maxima has a REAR quarter panel, or is it an
integral part of the unibody?
Mine was hit recently, and I'd like to know if it can be replaced as
