Hi, I have a problem with the Cruise function on my car, when I turn on the
switch, the indicator light on the switch turns on but nothing happens on

plug- looked fine.  Had the coils done 3 months ago.

Brought my Maxima 02 SE in because it would not run over 20mph.  They
tell me that I need a new clutch plate and that this is not covered
under warranty because the is a "ware part".

or stain on my car. What can be used to remove that light amber

My SES light went on about 10 days ago, after which I notice that the car
was running rough, somoething particularly noticeable at 1500-2100 RPMs.
Took into a local Nissan dealer, who did the diagnostic and came up with a
bad coils verdict. All cylinders were misfiring.

There is no power when I accelerate (automatic trans).  My cars at 61,000
miles and is due for a tune up.  Even before there was lack of power on
the acceleration.  4 cylinder cars beat me on the take off.  Any
suggestions?????

Purchased car at an auction, so received it as is.
Car runs great (auto) but no power windows, turn signal or rear lights
(brake or tail lights). Windshield wiper works, moonroof works and button
to take out of park works. Checked the fuses and they are ok.

My 97 Maxima has over 160k miles.  Latley, I've been getting the SEL about
every 300-400 miles.  Codes 0302 (EGR insufficient or excessive flow
detected) and 0304 (knock sensor fault or circuit fault).  After replacing
the EGR valve, I only get the SEL every 1000 miles or so.  Still ...

Was out of town for 5 days.  Came back late evening and started my
Nissan.  Wouldn't start at night.  After leaving out in the sun for a
few hours, tried to start again.  This time while turning the key, I
pumped the accelerator in and out several times and finally the engine

I have a 97 Max, has 138K on the clock, I just bought new rotors and pads,
am considering rebuilt calipers, and wonder if with this many miles on the
clock should I replace the rubber brake lines with Stainless Steel. I can
get a set for all 4 corners of the car off E-bay for 80 ...

We've lost the keys to our 93 Maxima.  Does anyone know if the dealer is
capable of cutting a new one once provided with VIN and title?  Any idea how
much this would cost?

help please?  After putting a underdrive pully and cold air induction on my
maxima it hesitates at reproducaple spots in the rpm's usually aroun 1600
and 25000.  Could the crank sensor affect this.  Does the lighter fly
wheel affect this.  I replaced knock sensor as computer had ...

My car is at the dealer right now and I've been told it needs a new
catalytic converter ($990).  Its a 2000 with just uner 80K miles.  I
have been seeing information suggesting that it should be under
warranty for 8yrs/80K.

Is there a fuel filter in the 2001 Maxima that requires a change and
at what mileage or time interval?
