my driver side window doesnt work right. it goes down fast and smooth but
when going up it gets to about half closed and gets very slow and looks
like its going to slip off track. i took the door pannel off and the

Hi, my nissan power locks don't work, they do a "click" sound when I hit
the button but the locks don't go up or down, I know that the problem is a
relay but I don't have the service manual so I don't know where it is. Any

   Well my 97 SE 5 sp has 124k on it now, and I'm wondering if the knock
sensor is bad.  Supposedly fuel economy goes down because of it.  What
highway mileage do you get?  How much mileage did you get back when you
replaced your knock sensor?

I have leaking power steering fluid on my '89 Maxima. Am hoping it is
just a hose, but I'm fearing the worst - a bad pump. Has anyone replaced
a PS pump?  How much did you have to pay? Did you have the dealer do it?

Hi, I have a headache for 4 days now.  Well is about my 87 nissan  maxima
that died while my wife was dirving.  I have checked the ecm codes and
replaced a maf and fuel pump.  I have also replaced the tps and idle up
solenoids.  The car ran like it was new and then two weeks ago ...

I am replacing the whole blown unit with another used one.  please help in

My 99 maxima idles irregularly, and today I tried to find the codes
from the ECU following the intructions posted on a webpage. But when I

I have a 2001 Maxima bought in Sept 2000. I live in a cold winter
climate and park outdoors. I was wondering if it's time to install a
new battery rather than run the risk of my car not starting on a cold
winter morning.  Cold Winter temperatures can be 0 deg F. to + 5 deg.

On my 2K Max, the heater system doesn't switch to blowing warm air till I
set it to 85 degrees.  Its in the low 60's outside.  At about 73 it will
start blowing to the floor and then increase the fan speed up through about
80.  But no warm air, just cold air.  Any thoughts?

I'm having an issue with the shift lock mechanism on my '01 Maxima.
The solenoid only actuates to allow me to shift out of park after
aprox. 30 seconds of having the brake pedal depressed.  I believe the
switch at the pedal is working since the brake lights are coming on.
