My Maxima overheated awhile ago and I need to know what damage could
have been done because of it... My engine boiled out and my water pump
sprung a leak, I have no problem fixing the pump and timing belt but my
mechanic told me my car could have suffered major damage when it got so

Ok, i feel like a dumbass for posting this but I cannot seem to locate the
block heater on the girlfriends 99 GLE. Its cold and dark out and i cant
seem to find it.This is a canadian model.
Where is it located?

The light or LED on related to the heat/cool adjustment on my 1995 Maxima SE
stopped working.  It makes it difficult to see/adjust the heat/cool controls
after daylight hours.  The AC unit as the well as the Button LEDs function
correctly, just the horizontal heat/cool control bar ...

Does anyone know the best place to purchase factory fog/driving light
assembly for the 99 Maxima?  I have used Jerry Rome Nissan in Springfield,
Mass before, but seems like they have raised their prices by 25% or so over
the past couple of years on this.....lots of highway driving ...

When i insert my key into the ignition. and try and turn the car on.  I get
a single click noise.  I replaced the battery and sed a wired brush to get
some of the corrosion off and put the new one battery in.  I tried it
again, "Click" is all i get.  I'm not sure what the problemis ...

on my maxima at about 70-74 mph the right rear wheel will make a noise,
almost feels like a grinding/vibrating noise happens sometime at around 40
or 60, mostly at 70 though, it will go away right around 74-75 mph

'80 Carousel Red Turbo T/A, 27k orig.

While putting a tape into my Bose stereo/tape/cd the system literally
froze up and only diplays TAPE on its display. It will not turn off
and the buttons are not responding at all. The light that indicates a
CD is loaded is also constantly on. I've pulled the Bose and AMP fuses

I am considering installing a remote starter on my 1998 SE with a maual
transmision and stock condition.
Can I pull this off in my own garage? Time is not an issue.
I  have purchased a Prostart 3 in 1 from Canadian Tire.

1. If I turn the ignition and get a click, but no turning, is it
definitely the starter?
2. How long would it take a medium-skilled Joe like myself to replace
the starter on a '95 Maxima without power tools?
