I can't seem to locate the drain plug.  I have Chilton's manual but in the
location it specifies for the drain plug is a female plug about 3/4" in
diameter for which I'll need a wrench similar to a hex ...

'91 Maxima, 178,500 miles.
When I turn a corner, my front end makes a slight "popping" noise.  It
doesn't happen when I actually turn the wheel, but when I'm moving through a
turn.  I'm thinking this is the ball joints going bad, but I'm not sure.

Has any one come up with a good additive to add to the blue
washer fluid to help it clean better?

I bought a "new" electric driver's seat from a '90 GXE from a junkyard to
replace the old, worn out, and now broken manual one on my '91 SE.
Under the manual seat is one electrical connector, but under the electric

I have a 96 Maxima that started idling rough - idle would drop to 200 RPM
and bounce up to 700 RPMs back and forth and on acceleration from start
would give and go and kind of kick into acceleration.  The car began to

I have a 99 Maxima that had a code indicating that there was
a cylinder misfire on #6.  As a quick fix,  I replaced all the
plugs since they have 55K miles on them.  The car seems to
running rougher than before.

Can't get the car out of park? Any ideas?

When I shift my (2002) Maxima into drive from park, first thing in the
morning, it delays about 4-6 seconds before the car responds.  You can
feel it shift but before idle drive kicks in, it is stagnant.  Does anyone
else have this problem?

I keep reading subtle things that the 2000-2003 Maximas are not reliable.
Can anybody provide more info on this?  I know about the ignition coil
problem.  Are there other serious problems?

Any idea what would cause an oxygen sensor error (code 33) on a 93 max GXE,
just one year after the same sensor was replaced?  The current error code
and symptoms are identical to what it was doing before I replaced it last
year...It starts OK when you turn the key, but when ...

My 92 maxima is shifting funny. The engine rev is not in synch with the car
movement. When I shift to drive and put my foot down on the gas pedal, the
engine rev rises but not proportionately with the car speed i.e. lots of
rev and very slow movement.

I have a Maxima 1989 GXE with 220,000 Kms. Lately the electronic display
dashboard has started to fail, specially on very cold days. I suspect a lose
connection, but I am not really sure. Any suggestions?.
