95Max and ECU24 Sep 2005 18:29 GMT1
Several weeks ago I wrote about a Check Engine problem and was kindly
referred to a site that explains how to get the correct code for the
problem. I've been busy trying to fix a roof leak (now there's a
problem) but today got to the Max. Unfortunately, I could not get by
Replacement bulbs for A/C control on 95 Maxima24 Sep 2005 08:53 GMT8
Hoping someone might know a source for the incandescent bulbs on the
A/C control backlight.  The size is approximately T-1 1/4 and it's a
wire terminal mount.  The plastic pcb holder/mount the bulb fits into
can be reused.

I have a very low mileage (50000 Km.) 2001 Nissan Maxima with Toyo
tires.  I had the car in for an oil change and the service technician
told me I need *new* tires. Apparently there is cracking on the tire
from age.  Should tires be changed every 5 years regardless of the

Starter Motor solenoid18 Sep 2005 22:53 GMT7
I have a Haynes manual for my Mazda Miata that says that if the engine won't
start when turning the ignition key, and the starter motor does not operate
at all but the solenoid clicks, then the problem could be with the solenoid
contacts.  Is that the same typically for a Nissan ...
95Max Tire Size18 Sep 2005 22:41 GMT4
My Max currently has a set of "older" Michelin Tires P205//65 R15 M+S
on it. I also have a set of almost new P225 //60 R16 M+S Nokians.
Should the latter tires, with the necessary rim adjustment, be mounted
on the Max?

Hi everybody, new user to webgroups, so I'm a little out of the loop.
My question revolves around playing movies using the DVD based

Cadillac CTS also with DVD based nav and he can play DVD movies.  He is
TPS adjustment for 1996 Maxima, need info.18 Sep 2005 19:15 GMT4
I need to know what the volt/ohm setting and which pins to probe with

difficulty with the car running (since new) after its been shut off
after a couple of minutes and restarted at a later time.  For example
maxima stalls & now does not start17 Sep 2005 04:47 GMT8
my car used to start & idle at approx 2000 rpm.
Soon the car would start then suddenly idle low (almost turn off) and
then go back to 1500-2000 rpm.
Then some days later it would shut down after starting up - too low
