I have on my Maxima GLE 2002  famous "check engine service" light on.
Dealer said that it is cannister control valve got bad. So i replaced
it, but the light's still on. I can't find how to reset ECM. I saw few
web pages for older maximas but for mine '02 there is no mode selector

I have a 97 Maxima SE (STD).  The OBDII system reports "Not Ready".  Even
after initiating the manual's Readiness For Inspection/Maintenance (I/M)
Test Process.  Are there any recalls for my car that address this?

My 93MaximaSE is due for a tuneup (@ 120K).  Many posts in this newsgroup
have recommended NGK plugs (vs. Bosch).  Are they better then the Densos?  
Would it be worth substituting Iridiums for the OEM platinum tips for the
few extra $?

Evidently my youngest daughter's '95 max is not OBDII. Is there a '3
finger salute' or some other routine I can use to reset the CEL?

much) i get a weird noise coming from under the hood.  sounds as tho the car

I have a '97 Maxima that won't go into overdrive. Pushing the button on
the shifter only turns the OD light on and off. Even at 60 it's still in
3rd. No flashing OD light and no ODBII codes set. It also shifts early
and hard when it makes the 1-2 shift. Anyone seen this before?
