How many miles should I expect from my Bridgestone Potenza's. I have 59000,
maybe 70000 miles.

Are 2003 Maximas prone to bad switches?  I have had mine for about a
week (bought it used with 122K kms) and have discovered the following:
1.  Passenger window switch (on driver's) will lower passenger window,
but not raise it, have to use passenger side.

I have been trying to replace rear brake pads on this 1989 nissan maxima;
unlike the front callipers I am having trouble getting the rear piston to
retract.  I believe it is a ABS system  . . . any suggestions?

My 90 SE has no reverse,  I'm assuming the tranny is bad.  Any ideas on
buying a rebuilt or used tranny.  I'm in minnesota.  Thanks

My 2002 Maxima blower fan blade is rubbing against the plenum housing,
worse/loud scraping noise when it is at low speed. Anyone has an R&R
procedure for getting to it? It is so loud now as the weather just got
colder and I cannot leave it on even at the highest speed setting. If I

Several months ago I posted a question about the grinding noise that
was happening a for a few seconds after starting my engine.  Nirav
replied that it was probably the starter and that this is a common
problem for the Max.  By gum, he was right -- thanks!

 I have a 1990 Maxima and usually the temp indicator needle stays halfway
but for the last couple of days the needle moves over towards the hot area
about 3/4 ways past cool after being driven for awhile. Sometimes it goes
back to halfway but mostly it stays on the 3/4 mark. I did ...

The blower blowing cold air when sit idle, but when you give more rpm then
it start blowing hot.
Is it the thermostat or the water pump going bad.
Any body can help.

Tranny has up and left on my 1992 Maxima.  I have had a hard time
locating a replacement, but have found one via www.jkjapaneseengine.com.
 Just wondering if anybody has had any experience with this company, as

I can lock and unlock my doors and then when I put the key in ignition, it
cranks but won't turn over.  After opening the doors the security light
blinks and when I try to start the light stays on constant.  

Just picked up a 2003 GLE with 122500 KM on it and just got back from my
first "driving in the snow" experience.  The TCS on that thing is amazing!!

My 1987 Nissan Maxima leaks fuel from the Pressure regulator control
solenoid valve for 15-20 seconds after starting. Idle is very rough and
has very poor fuel economy. Is the problem the fuel pressure regulator?
