I'm sure this is an insane question, but I have to ask it. Is it even
remotely possible to put a newer Maxima engine in an older Maxima car?
I have a '97 Maxima SE that I bought in October of '96. I love this
car; it was my home for a few months during my divorce back in 2003.

My '92 maxima idles perfectly, but above 2500 rpm or so it is out of power.
It sort of "pulses" at a steady rate if I hold the accelerator down while
idling.  Engine is good (good compression etc).   Fuel injector problem?

The LCD which shows radio station info on my 1995 Maxima SE is almost
90% black, only top 10% showing. Radio is working fine. How can I get
return of full screen? I am not technical so please make your reply

I have a 97 Maxima GLE with 135,000 miles on it and I failed
inspection b/c the evaporated emissions system no longer works.  It is
going to cost about $1,000 to fix.  Any input on whether it should get
done or not?  Or just trade up to a new Maxima.?

I'm looking for some parts and was curious if anyone has any
preferences/suggestions.

I changed the engine in this car and it runs fine when you can get it
started but that is the problem on start up it will turn over but the
starter will kickback and all power is lost for a split second and then go
again and repeat this sometimes it will finaly start and sometimes ...

Can the computer cause timing problems at start up it misfires and kicks
back so hard it stalls the starter it sounds real bad but once it starts
it runs great thanks

If I replace stock computer with salvage yard computer will it have to be
flashed or will it be a plug and go thing. Thanks
