I have replaced both valve cover gaskets,upper and lower oil pan gasket,oil switch and still leaks badly when car is running. After I go on the highway and come home and open hood up there is oil on top of the engine. There is puddles on top of the intake in the little valleys.

The front catalytic converter on my 2001 Maxima needs to be replaced. At a Nissan dealership it was estimated $800-900. However, online stores offer EASTERN catalytic convertes for Nissan at the price of under $300. I wonder if these converters are any good.

Can anyone tell me how many volts the system should charge at while the car idles? I have heard different numbers, anywhere from 12.5 to 14.0, from multiple sources. Thanks!
