Hit a deer a few weeks ago, not much of a jolt, really. Just bent the
hood and broke a headlight. Took to body shop, new hood + light + paint
= $1600. Picked it up, and the charge and brake lights were on, the
clock does not work, and the trip odometer has no memory with the key

I am replacing the tie rod boots with OEM Nissan boots, which come
with a wire tie to secure the boot to the rack.  I am concerned that
the wire is so thin that it will cut through the boot over time due to
