My beloved 280ZX ( 1983 2+2, auto ) has recently started to splutter ever so slightly at low rpm off the mark..until i get the accelerator about half way down...then it seem to completely smooth out....it also seems to be a bit heitant during this stage as well...

I unpluged the air bag connector on the driver seat. re-connected and now the air bag warning light is blinking at me. disconnect battery cable for 1-hour, light continues to blink. any one know how to reset the computer. Dealer says there is a $100 fee for reset.
