So I do 100% city driving, 6 miles to and from work, I'm kinda heavy on the
accelerator, and I use 91 octane gas, I'm getting about 15-16mpg from my 87
300xz turbo 5 speed, is that pretty much in line with what it should be
getting?

I have a '91 Z & the problem is this:
When I turn on my head lights, I only get the high beams. No side
markers, no tail lights, no instrument panel, nothing. When I activate
my alarm, the lights all flash to let me know it's on, but other than

Where can I find the lamps that go inside of the climate control display.
Some of mine are bad and others have gotten weak. Mr. Nissan Dealer told me
sorry Charlie. It looks like there is atleast 3 different wattages involved,
they are all 12 volt though.

I've had this car for a long time, and it's been great. However,
there's been an annoyance; the fuel pump makes a loud whirring or
whining sound. I figured that was one of the Z's quirks, until I rode
in a friend's Z (same year) and I could not hear his fuel pump.

I have seen your website under 300ZX information. First, thanks for
posting. You said use "Nissan" air filter. Is Fram air filter as good as
Nissan air filter? I have to buy a new one and wondering if Fram air filter
from WalMart is acceptable.

I understand that the overdrive gear will not kick in until the water temp
reaches 145 degree. My 1986 300 zx, non-turbo, seems to be working right up
to that point. When it does try to go into overdrive, the transmission
starts to slip while going into overdrive, then it goes ...

please can someone advise me. my rev needle bounces up and down when the
engine is cold and when starting and stopping at the beginning of a
