Replacing Shifter Bushings26 Jan 2006 07:57 GMT2
My Z has developed a "very wobbly" shifter and I have heard replacing the
Shifter Bushings will tighten it back up.  Is this a procedure that is easy
to do?  I would surmise you would remove the boot housing and the bushing
would be centered around the shifter.  How hard is it to ...
260Z radiator23 Jan 2006 21:41 GMT5
I've just changed over from triple Webbers to fuel injection.
Installed an after market computer (Wolf3D) and 38-78 cam.
It never over heated with the webbers but now it does when I push the
car a bit.
93 300ZX Fog Light Switch23 Jan 2006 02:13 GMT5
I have a 93 300ZX and when I try to turn on my fog lights, they come on and
then when I let go of the button they turn off.  The LED comes on but the
button does not seem to be working correctly.   Any ideas on how to fix?  I
assume this is a on/off switch correct?

86 ZX turbo wont blow warm air out floor vents20 Jan 2006 18:29 GMT2
My 86 zx turbo has recently been solely blowing cold air out of the floor
vents. It is winter and it has been around the freezing point for about
the last month. The heater/AC is climate control so it isnt a warm/cold
dial its a digital display. The heater still blows out cold air ...
checking an O2 sensor20 Jan 2006 04:26 GMT3
Does anyone have a good way of testing an O2 sensor to see if it is good
(SteveT ?????)? I know this is a Nissan group (want this info because
our 96 Chevy truck is throwing codes), but figured the advice would be
relevant to any auto group. By the way I replace the heater core ...
Blinking Airbag Light and Light When Brake Depressed19 Jan 2006 01:44 GMT1
I have just bought a 95 Z and while I drove it I noticed that the airbag
lighted was flashing and when I depressed the brake a light similar to a
bright beam light appeared on the dash but went out when I released the
brake.  What gives with each? How do I disable the airbags?  ...
Oil Suggestion18 Jan 2006 03:34 GMT1
I recently posted a problem with a blinking airbag light and a light that
looks like it might be from the headlight since there is an image of a light
when I press on the brake but it goes out after I release it.  Now what I
would like to know most foreign cars recomment a 5W-30 ...
Blinking Airbag Light16 Jan 2006 04:40 GMT1
I have just purchased a 1996 300zx non-turbo but noticed the airbag light
was blinking all the time I test drove the car and the headlight image
illulinated every time I stepped on the brake but went out after removing
brake pressure on the pedal. What's up with these mysterious ...
'83 Z Spare Tire13 Jan 2006 09:28 GMT2
I recently purchased an 83 280zx from a charitable organization that had
been donated.  It needed some mechanical work which I was ready to do.
The car is done and runs great.
The problem now is I discovered there is NO SPARE TIRE.  Any suggestions
Jacking points10 Jan 2006 01:36 GMT2
Please give me some advice on this one. Many service stations and garages
try jacking the 84-89ZX from the side to facilitate tire removals for
inspection, etc.  The under-body looks like it has frame rails, but in
fact these are about as thin as sheet metal. My factory service ...

I'm having some problems replacing the output seal in my 85ZX 2+2.
Everything is so tight, it looks like the exhaust system has to be removed
to remove the driveshaft or is there another way?  Any tricks to remove the
