My 1993 Nissan 300ZX stalls after startup in the morning.  The engine
would start fine and idles at about 1000, then after 2-3 seconds, the
RPM drops to 0 and the car dies.  Restarting the car immediately
doesn't help.  I need to tap lightly on the gas pedal to let the RPM

I can smell gas fumes on the outside rear end of my 93 Sentra. Replaced gas
cap with a Nissan cap. No dripping gas and the smell is not on the inside of

We have a 97 Quest that has a rattling noise coming from under the hood during acceleration.  Could this be the timing chain?  Or something else?

My original cd player died, so I upgraded to a Blaupunkt.  Which does have a
volume control lead for the speed of the vehicle.  Does My X have anywhere

My quest runs really rough for the first minute when I start is after
it has sat all night.  Lots of smoke come out of the exhaust that
smells like gas.  I have had the EGR valve replaced about a year ago.
Any one have any ideas?

Several years ago I had to have the clutch cable replaced at about
80k, and the dealer told me that I'd be wise to keep an eye out for
slippage at 120k. If I drive it hard, the clutch does slip a bit
before it fully engages now, at 115k.

I have a water leak around the rear window.  The dealer charges $40
for a new seal.  Are these very hard to replace.  Any alternatives to
buying it at the dealer?

SES light came on a week ago.  finally got it into a local mechanic who
checked it out but told me the code, P1145, comes back undocumented.  I
did a google search and the only reference I found on it describes it as
"Manufacture Contrl Fuel Air Metering" (misspelled from ...

Just bought used 96 Kingcab Pickup, 4 cyl, 67,000 miles.
I was complaining because I have been getting 19 mpg all highway driving,
70 - 75 mph.
Original factory specs were 19 mpg city - 24 mpg highway.
