Adjustable steering rack on Maximas31 Jul 2004 17:59 GMT3
I have a 97 SE with a very freely moving steering rack.  Apparently
there should be an amount of friction against sliding, and according to TSB
00-037B, adjusting a nut on the rack can adjust that friction.  It also
mentioned Pathfinders, Altimas, and Quests have a similar rack.

XM or Sirius Satellite Radio?31 Jul 2004 11:08 GMT25
I'm planning on buying a 2005 Nissan Murano soon after the 2005 model is
released.
In researching the 2004 Murano, I see that Nissan offers your choice of XM
or Sirius satellite radio.
Sentra OEM struts31 Jul 2004 07:53 GMT1
I replaced the struts on my 96 Nissan Sentra last year with Monroe
struts,  which really sucked.  Less than a year later, they need to be
replaced again.  I'd like to replace them with OEM struts, but don't
want to pay the money buying them from the dealer.  Would anyone know
Murano Feedback29 Jul 2004 23:06 GMT4
I am looking to purchase a new vehicle and seriously interested in the
Nissan Murano.  Could anyone offer some feedback of the positives and
negatives.  Or if there have been any problems with this new concept.
Much appreciated,

replacing ball joints on truck27 Jul 2004 22:22 GMT7
I have a 86.5 D21 (aka hardbody) truck (4x2) and the factory manual
says that the lower ball joints are sold with the lower control arm.
However, I've seen various sites on the internet selling only the
lower ball joint.  Can the lower ball joint be replaced without

Type of grease for ball joints27 Jul 2004 04:14 GMT5
What is the best type of grease to use with Nissan ball joints?  I'm
finding differing opinions as to what type of grease to use (moly,
lithium, synthetic...) and if it will be compatiable with whatever is
current in use.  Is there anything special I need to know about
Nisstech -- re: '96 I30t 5sp26 Jul 2004 22:18 GMT6
The local Nissan mechanics insist there is some play in the transmission
where the axle is inserted that is causing a fluid leak at the seal,
despite new seals two weeks ago.  I have confidence in this repair shop,
but the cost of a new or rebuilt transmission is high, especially ...
