X-Trail: new in NA, not elsewhere?30 Sep 2004 03:33 GMT4
The X-Trail seems to be new in Canada and the US, but it seems not to
be new elsewhere (I read a couple of good articles on an Australia
website that seem to be from 2000 and 2002).
When was the X-Trail introduced outside North America?  Is it new for
1994 Nissan Hardbody limited rpms when warm30 Sep 2004 00:09 GMT4
My 1994 Pickup has 145,000 miles.  After driving on the highway for 20
miles and stopping it looses power under acceleration.  The engine looses
it around 2200 rpm.  Seems to be a rev limiter or timing problem (never
changed the timing belt).  I did plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, and ...

My 240sx was stolen yesterday in vancouver, canada. i did have a club on
it. from wheel to gas pedal. when i go camping i always take the ignition

fuse out of fuse box or one of the main relays?
Instrument cluster voltage regulator29 Sep 2004 03:55 GMT1
I've seen a bunch of posts on this topic when I searched the archives
- the fuel and temp gauges quit working, due to the failure of a small
voltage regulator on the back of the instrument cluster circuit board.
In fact I know I've replaced this before, either on my current

dumb question about installing alarm28 Sep 2004 05:20 GMT2
the schematic says to hook wire from alarm module to window-up control
output(-) or dome light output(-).  Other times they just say (-) or (+)
with no mention of output. does output refer to   the 240sx's modules?

number of new vehicles this year.
95 Pathfinder spare tire question26 Sep 2004 17:18 GMT3
I just replaced the tires on my truck and I kept 2 of the old tires that had
about 40% tread left. I figured I could mount one of them on the rear spare
tire rim so that I wouldn't be stuck with the temporary spare while off road
or pulling a trailer. Can I mount a 31x10.5x15 tire ...
Clacking sound from 96 Sentra at idle26 Sep 2004 16:11 GMT9
My gf's 96 Sentra has been making a clacking sound at idle, at
all rpm's.  It drives fine. No clacking when in gear.  Her mech has "no clue"
what the sound is.  Anyone have an idea?  Belts, maybe?  Waterpump ?
Thanks
Altima - reattach rear spoiler?26 Sep 2004 15:56 GMT4
I've just purchased a 1997 Nissan Altima that came with the rear spolier in
the trunk. The Spoiler is in perfect condition and there's no damage to the
trunk lid, just a dot of sealant protecting the wiring hole.
My local Nissan Dealer (Star Nissan - Chicago USA) said they couldn't
