| Speaker help for new Sentra | 31 Dec 2004 09:27 GMT | 4 |
I recently bought a 2004 Sentra. The sound system sounds worse than that in my 1994 Sentra! I'd like to get some new speakers, as I figure they rather than the deck is the problem. Problem is I know NOTHING about speakers. What sizes do I need? What is a

| Warranty voided? HELP! | 31 Dec 2004 04:54 GMT | 9 |
I may have screwed up, and need some help. The sliding doors on my Nissan Quest were rattling and I tightened up some of the mounting bolts. I replaced one of them with one containing a lock washer because it was loose, then my wife told me this would void the warranty. Now I ...

| Dead Headlights - 86 Nissan PIckup | 31 Dec 2004 03:20 GMT | 7 |
The headlights on my 86 Nissan 6 cylinder pickup are inoperable. I've run a wire from the battery and spliced in and they work so I know it's not the bulbs or plug-in connections. The fuses are good also. I can't see anything obvious in the wiring. I tried to locate the fusable ...

I have a 96 Sentra with a 1.6 liter engine with 120k miles. Recently, I have had an overheating problem. It occurred on a trip to Florida (from Texas). I handled it on the trip by turning on the interior heater. Fortunately, it was pretty cool outside and the

| 240SX simple idle adjustment | 30 Dec 2004 04:46 GMT | 2 |
Back on my old 95 200SX SE-R, my mechanic said there was a little screw you could just turn one way or another to adjust your idle speed. Is there something like that on my 240SX? I seem to be idling at about 600-700, where it vibrates too much. I'd rather have 800, which feels ...

I have a 1.6L 98 Sentra SE. In late October, I had the vent control valve (in neck of gas tank), crank case seal and drive belts replaced. Right after, my MPG jumped by about 2MPG (My average is 34-ish). Suddenly, I'm using much more gas and am down to 20mpg, within my last two ...

| Infiniti Q45 oil pan removal procedure | 30 Dec 2004 00:07 GMT | 28 |
Do you know how to drop a 1993 Infiniti Q45 oil pan? A biker dropped his pannier in front of me on the freeway. After dragging the saddlebag for 100 yards, I ran out of oil. Turns out I gouged and dented my Q45 oilpan beyond repair.

| 97 and 99 Sentra's hard to start | 29 Dec 2004 22:40 GMT | 2 |
Both are GXE automatics. From time to time both have suddenly refused to start for no apparent reason. If I hold the gas pedal to the floor and crank the starter for about 30 seconds they will finally start and run rough for a bit then run OK. The problem only happens now and ...

I have a 1995 Quest. When I twist the knob to spray windshield fluid, nothing happens. There's no pumping sound. I can spray fluid on the REAR hatch window with no problem. There's only one windshield fluid reservoir that I'm aware of, and it's full.

This started a few days ago: When I start the engine, it starts right up, but there is a grinding noise for a few seconds right after the engine turns over. I am NOT a mechanic, but it sounds like the starter motor is not disengaging immediately after
