| Tips for new Frontier owner? | 24 Dec 2004 22:08 GMT | 7 |
I just picked up (heh) a 2004 Frontier XE-V6 for a steal. With the new, redesigned models coming out, and the "rebate," I was able to get an XE-V6 Crewcab (short bed), automatic with power for $17,5. I love the thing.

| Squeaky chirp in L front wheel | 23 Dec 2004 19:23 GMT | 4 |
97 Nissan pickup 4x4, 2.4 liter. 47,000 miles I have developed a squeaky chirp in the left front wheel. Not very loud, but enough for me to hear when the driver's window is cracked open. It's not a chirp-chirp-chirp sound, but more like a squea-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-k.

I just checked my gf's 96 Sentra with the 1.6 liter engine, and saw what looks like a gas drip coming off something, only when the engine is running. I can't see the origin of the drip, but I can see the drop falling down once every 40 seconds approx.

| Altima SE V-6 vs. Accord LX V-6 | 23 Dec 2004 01:01 GMT | 33 |
On paper these should have pretty even performance #'s but the Altima beats the Accord soundly when comparing auto trannys, and trounces it when it comes to the 6 speed. Were talking 1/2 second in the quarter and 0-60 in the autos, and a full second for the 6 speed. What gives ...

| 17 vs. 18 inch Snow Tires for 2005 Maxima SE | 20 Dec 2004 18:27 GMT | 3 |
Anyone have any opinions on using 225/55/17 snow tires (along with new 17 inch wheels) on a 2005 Maxima SE? I was looking at packages for tires plus wheels and also packages that include JUST the 245/45/18 tires and the prices seem to be about the same.
