Tips for new Frontier owner?24 Dec 2004 22:08 GMT7
I just picked up (heh) a 2004 Frontier XE-V6 for a steal.  With the
new, redesigned models coming out, and the "rebate," I was able to get
an XE-V6 Crewcab (short bed), automatic with power for $17,5.  I love
the thing.
2001 Frontier Radio Question24 Dec 2004 04:09 GMT4
Howdy,
I have a 2001 Frontier that came stock with a radio/CD player with no
cassette.  I'm told that a lot of current car radios have audio inputs
in the back that can be used to to plug in external audio sources

Squeaky chirp in L front wheel23 Dec 2004 19:23 GMT4
97 Nissan pickup 4x4, 2.4 liter. 47,000 miles
I have developed a squeaky chirp in the left front wheel. Not very loud,
but enough for me to hear when the driver's window is cracked open. It's
not a chirp-chirp-chirp sound, but more like a squea-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-k.

you will.

Thermostat problem?23 Dec 2004 16:22 GMT2
I have a 2002 Nissan Sentra GXE and just today i noticed the heater would
not generate the usual heat it normally does.  It's a lot cooler.  When the
car is idle, when either parking or waiting at a stop light, the heat coming
out of the vents is much cooler.  Once I give it some ...

96 Sentra gxe Gas Leak near plenum  ???23 Dec 2004 15:03 GMT3
I just checked my gf's 96 Sentra with the 1.6 liter engine, and saw
what looks like a gas drip coming off something, only when the engine is
running. I can't see the origin of the drip, but I can see the drop falling
down once every 40 seconds approx.
Altima SE V-6 vs. Accord LX V-623 Dec 2004 01:01 GMT33
On paper these should have pretty even performance #'s but the Altima beats
the Accord soundly when comparing auto trannys, and trounces it when it
comes to the 6 speed.  Were talking 1/2 second in the quarter and 0-60 in
the autos, and a full second for the 6 speed.  What gives ...

Question for Steve T.22 Dec 2004 12:15 GMT2
Steve,
I want to replace the tranny oil in my 2004 Frontier, 5 speed with some
synthetic (Redline MTL in particular). The owners manual calls for 10
3/4 pints of Nissan HQ Multi 75-85 oil or equiv. Will MTL be an adequate
Do I need to prime the oil pump first ?21 Dec 2004 04:58 GMT5
I just installed a new oil pump in my 92 Nissan PU
Then after I installed it, a thought occured to me, that thing
is fulla air and probably won't develop enough negative pressure
to suck the oil.
17  vs. 18 inch Snow Tires for 2005 Maxima SE20 Dec 2004 18:27 GMT3
Anyone have any opinions on using 225/55/17 snow tires (along with new
17 inch wheels) on a 2005 Maxima SE?  I was looking at packages for
tires plus wheels and also packages that  include JUST the 245/45/18
tires and the prices seem to be about the same.
