My dealer just told me that my oxygen sensors are very bad and can break
any time. He also pointed out that bad corrosion in lot of bolts!
Is this oxygen sensor thing very strange for my mileage (55000 miles)??

Cruise Control Problem10 Dec 2004 05:04 GMT9
I have a 2003 Xterra and when using the cruise control for anything above,
around, 75mph, the car learches quiet badly.  It's as though the cruise
control is having a hard time maintaining constant speed at or above the
75mph limit.  Below that, cruise control is very smooth.  The ...

I have an automatic 96 nissan 200sx and whenever i'm driving I hear a loud
screaching sound. I took it to the mechanic thinking it was the breaks but
he said i still have over 60% left on them but i have a broken cv boot? The
screaching stops when applying the break, could the cv ...

Dual batteries on 2001 Frontier08 Dec 2004 18:03 GMT2
Does anyone know of a diagram or the proper way to hook up two batteries
under the hood.  I have a 2001 Nissan Frontier with the 2.4l and stock
alternator.  Will the stock handle it, and do they make a another for this
truck.  Any info would be a great help, thanks, DON
Do newsgroup moderators make big salaries?08 Dec 2004 06:36 GMT2
I've always wondered how much money newsgroup moderators make.
Someone suggested that they do this for nothing and only out of interest of
the topic.   If this is true, then they must be independently wealthy or
just getting by somehow.
2002 Altima-trouble starting?07 Dec 2004 22:30 GMT5
I'm not even sure if this qualifies as having trouble starting, but I have
a 2002 Altima with 28,000 miles on it and it has "a little" trouble
starting if I don't start it for a few days. It starts, but the engine
doesn't turn over immediately. I was out of the country for a few ...
Nissan's CVT transaxle07 Dec 2004 07:31 GMT2
2004 Nissan Murano has this CVT. Any idea on how reliable of this
feature. In case something goes wrong, is local auto shop able to fix
that? High tech does not mean always good to have yet.
99 Nissan Sentra SE - Noise at slow speeds06 Dec 2004 23:47 GMT4
Lately when I travel at parking lot speeds (5 to 10 miles an hour) I hear a
mettalic squeaking noise.
My local shop has recently checked my brakes and said that I had 25% wear
left on the front brakes and 75% wear left on the rear.  These are the
Adding nav system to 2002 Altima SL ?06 Dec 2004 20:46 GMT2
I bought a 2002 Altima SL new two years ago.  It has the Bose Premium sound
system, but I did not equip it with the navigation system at the time. I
didn't know much about them then and didn't think it worth it.   Since that
time, I have another car (Lexus) with a navigation ...
AWD vs. 2WD with traction control06 Dec 2004 20:44 GMT7
I am presently negotiating to buy a Murano.  I have a choice between
AWD without traction control and 2WD with traction control.  I am
getting a better discount on the AWD car so price is the same.  Which
car will perform better for general driving and is the better choice?
Sentra 2000 Horn problem06 Dec 2004 18:36 GMT1
My wife has a 2000 Sentra GXE and the horn stopped working.  I checked and
both fuses are good.  The horn button on the steering wheel and the remote
get nothing.  What should I check next?
Thanks,
'04 Pathfinder - airlift ??06 Dec 2004 05:07 GMT7
I have a new 2004 Pathfinder. I'd like to install airlift bags in the
rear coils to help support the tongue load of my 4500 lb boat & trailer.
Inside the OE coil springs are black plastic looking conical cylinders,
I assume to assist the coil action under severe loads. Can they ...
240SX stiff/sticky throttle05 Dec 2004 20:43 GMT4
I just bought a 98 240SX SE off Ebay.  A little buyer's remorse here -- not
as exciting as I expected, a tad noisy, and not much different than my 95
200SX SE-R.  Eh...
Anyway, one problem that I can't forgive is a really sticky throttle.  It
