Just wondering if it is or was still common practice to remove the upper
chain guides on newer (circa 1999) Altima engine.  My 94 had the guide
removed and I'm wondering if I should get the 99's taken off as well.  Was
there any reason for the removal aside from silencing some chain ...

is the speed sensor on the 96 xe king cab 4x2 gear box the same as that on
98 4 door diesel 4x4 and i notice there are about 3 sensors on the box
which is the speed sensor as my speed ometer is acting up nb.the tranny
was changed from auto to manual by the previous owner.

I have a 96 Nissan Sentra GXE.  Recently my check engine light lit up
and stayed on.  I came on when the car was overheating because of a

My '88 Stanza is a four cylinder but has eight spark plugs - one in each of
the intake sides and one in each of the exhaust sides. Now, if one coil
failes, say the coil that produces spark for the intake side, would the
engine keep running off the other coil??
